Klondike rules
Build the seven tableau columns downward in alternating colors. You may move one face-up card or a complete descending, alternating-color run. Only a king or a king-led run may enter an empty column.
Build each foundation upward by suit from ace to king. You may bring a foundation card back to the tableau when it is needed as a base.
Draw 1 exposes one stock card at a time; Draw 3 exposes every third card. When the stock is empty, recycle the waste without a pass limit.
Setting up
Shuffle one 52-card deck. Deal seven columns from left to right: the first gets one card, the second two, and so on up to seven. Only the top card of each column is face up, so 21 cards start hidden.
The 24 cards left over form the stock. The four foundations above the columns start empty.
Moving cards
A face-up card can go onto a column whose top card is one rank higher and the opposite color: a red 9 on a black 10. You can move a whole run of face-up cards the same way, as long as the run itself goes down in alternating colors.
When you move the last face-up card off a column, turn over the card beneath it. An empty column takes only a king, or a run that starts with a king.
Stock and waste
Tap the stock to turn cards onto the waste. You may play only the top waste card. When the stock runs out, turn the waste over to make a new stock. Some versions limit how many times you may do this; here there is no limit.
In Draw 3 you turn three cards at a time, so the cards between them stay out of reach until the waste changes.
Foundations
Each foundation holds one suit, from ace up to king. You may take the top card of a foundation back to a column when you need it as a base.
That move is rarely needed. In the million-deal study cited on the home page, only 0.34% of winnable Draw 1 deals and 0.52% of winnable Draw 3 deals could not be won without it.
Winning
You win when all 52 cards are on the foundations. From any position with a winning line, Finish for me plays that line out to the end.
The Moves counter counts every action, including each tap on the stock.
